What You’ll Need:
Equipment
- Enema bucket or bag (preferably stainless steel or medical-grade silicone)
- Enema tubing + clamp
- Lubricant (natural oils such as coconut or olive oil)
- Towel for the floor
- A comfortable space near a toilet
Ingredients
- Water Enema: 1–2 quarts of warm, filtered or distilled water
- Coffee Enema:
- 2–3 tbsp organic enema-grade coffee
- 2–3 cups filtered water
- Wheatgrass Enema:
- 2–4 oz fresh wheatgrass juice or high-quality powdered wheatgrass mixed in warm filtered water
STEP 1 — Set Up & Prepare
- Choose a quiet, private area (bathroom or mat near bathroom).
- Lay a towel down and prepare your enema kit.
- Make sure all solutions are warm — not hot (body temperature or slightly warmer).
- Hang or elevate the enema bucket so the liquid flows gently, not too fast.
- Lubricate the nozzle generously.
STEP 2 — Water Enema (Cleanse)
Purpose: Clear stool, hydrate the colon, and prepare for deeper detox.
- Fill your enema bag with warm filtered water.
- Lie on your right side or back with knees slightly bent.
- Gently insert the nozzle 1–2 inches.
- Release the clamp slowly and allow water to flow in at a comfortable pace.
- When the bag is empty, remove the nozzle and move to the toilet.
- Release fully.
STEP 3 — Coffee Enema (Detox)
Purpose: Stimulate liver cleansing, increase glutathione production, and support toxin release.
Prepare the Coffee
- Bring 2–3 cups of filtered water to a boil.
- Add 2–3 tbsp organic light- or medium-roast enema-grade coffee.
- Simmer 10–15 minutes.
- Strain and cool to body temperature.
How to
- Add the coffee liquid to your enema bucket.
- Lie on your right side — this positions the coffee near the liver.
- Insert the nozzle and release the clamp slowly.
- Take deep breaths as the coffee flows in; stop if cramping occurs.
- When the bag is empty, remove the nozzle.
- Hold the coffee for 10–15 minutes if possible.
- Release slowly in the toilet.
STEP 4 — Wheatgrass Enema (Replenish & Restore)
Purpose: Nourish the colon, restore minerals, and support healing after detox.
Prepare the Wheatgrass
Choose one of the following:
- Fresh Wheatgrass Juice: 2–4 oz raw juice
- Powdered Wheatgrass: 1 tbsp mixed in 1–1.5 cups warm filtered water
How to
- Add the wheatgrass liquid to your enema bucket.
- Lie on your left side — this helps the wheatgrass coat the colon.
- Gently let the solution flow in.
- Once the bag is empty, remove the nozzle.
- Hold for 10–20 minutes if you can.
- Release in the toilet.
STEP 5 — Aftercare
- Drink plenty of water or herbal tea.
- Eat something light and grounding (soups, steamed veggies, fruit).
- Rest if needed — detox can be deeply releasing emotionally and physically.
- Clean your enema kit thoroughly with non-toxic soap.
Safety Notes
- Always use filtered water to avoid introducing toxins.
- Avoid enemas during pregnancy, active GI issues, or if you feel lightheaded.
- Stop immediately if you feel sharp pain.
- Check with a practitioner if you have medical concerns.
- Utilize this practice ever 3-4 months for a routinue body reset.
